Services to help our carriers
FREIGHT INVOICE FACTORING
What is Factoring?
Factoring, or Accounts Receivable Financing, is the transaction of selling your accounts receivables to a 3rd party financial company, known as the Factor. Factoring is done so you can have your cash quicker than waiting 30 to 60 days or longer for the customer or broker to issue payment. The first and foremost benefit of factoring is improved cash flow for our carriers. Stop worrying about collecting invoice payments so you can spend your time making more money!
Recourse Factoring is when you, the carrier, sell your invoices to a factor, with the promise that you will buy back any uncollected invoices. You are responsible for buying back invoices that aren't paid by the customer or broker after a pre-determined period of time.
Non-recourse Factoring is the selling of your invoices to the factoring company, who assumes all of the credit risks and is responsible for collection of payment from the customer or broker on the invoice.
